a rescue robot
ops-5253515 December 2020
So intelligent that he is useless. a story about mum and dad creating this robot, while theyre mostly ignoring their only son in their eagerness. when hes found not useabel for the government needs, hes called''dangerous'' and moscow is on alert. he has to hide away, and get the idea to go to the only family he has, his creator., there he meet the son whos overjoyed to get a robot.

its a human vs A.I story at a very benign and human level, no violence or swearing, just two objects trying to figure out how the world works. its nothing new or sensational about this film, but its not a dum desicion to have a look. its extremely coloufilled and friendly for the whole family, the version i saw was unfortunatelu an englisg dubbed one, and lots are lost in translation versus closed captions.

thhough nothing new the grumpy old man enjoyed this film, so a small recommend

Warning: Spoilers
Robo is the name of the A112 Universal Rescue Robot. It is equipped with AI. It was created by a team lead by ViKtor (Vladimir Vdovichenkov) and his wife Nadya (Mariya Mironova). After the robot fails his first field test, he escapes and goes to the home of his creators where he meets Mitya (Daniil Izotov) their nine year old son, or12 years old, with his own issues. As in most robot stories, the government wants to hunt him down while the kid wants to save him.

The English dubbing was not bad. The film is cute and just fine for a nine year old.

The worst film in my life

There is the only one thing I want to say about this movie. It's a really bad, low quality BumbleBee russian parody with surprisingly high IMBd rating.

Heart felt movie for all ages

I really enjoyed this movie. Even though it was a foreign film, the story was still reminiscent to the American film Short Circuit..enjoyable for all ages....if you do not like to, you do not have a heart.

Not really

When I watched, Andreasyan himself thought he was writing the script, but no, there are three screenwriters there. The plot is primitive even for a children's cartoon. The film is like a mix of "Carlson" and "A Robot named Chappie". The robot was drawn well (the robot is not a Hippo cat, there is no need to draw wool, so it turned out quite convincingly. More on the plot-- why did Robo want to find a family? Just a glitch in the program or what? Arissa from "Better than People" was at least programmed by the Chinese, and here-"don't find fault with the plot, it's a fairy tale, children are stupid, children eat." And Krylatov's music from The Adventures of Electronics did not need to be used, although Carlson was already being played without asking, so why be shy...
