- A woman with a knife walks toward a young woman and tries to stab her: they struggle over the knife, and one of them is thrown over a railing and crashes down onto the floor several floors below (we see her lying motionless and we see a knife in her abdomen when she is rolled over).
- A man drives his car fast and erratically, his passenger is frightened and asks him to slow down, he nearly crashes into another car, drives through a fence, a truck crashes into the side of the car, flipping it on its side, and we see the man and a young woman with bloody wounds but alive; the man then picks up a shard of glass and stabs the young woman (we hear a crunch and a scream).
- A young woman stabs herself in the chest a few times (we hear crunching, but we see no blood).
- We hear that a woman tried to kill her daughter by stabbing her in the chest with a pair of scissors and we see the woman lifting the scissors and bringing them down toward the young woman (we do not see the stabbing).
- A young woman holds another young woman under water to drown her; they struggle and one of the young women falls back and strikes her head (we see her floating dead with a bit of blood in the surrounding water).
- A young woman strikes her father in the head with a heavy vase (he falls to the floor unconscious).
- A young woman shoves another young woman, who shoves her back, grabs her arm, twists it (we hear crunching) and the young woman falls to the floor screaming.
- A man is held by another man and he has a bloody face (it appears that he has been beaten); his arm is twisted behind him and he struggles to get free.
- A young woman has a nightmare about a woman trying to stab her and wakes up screaming.
- A young woman imagines her mother trying to attack her, and she falls to the ground thrashing and hyperventilating.
- A young woman has a nosebleed, she panics and hyperventilates and falls to the floor (we see blood on her blouse and nose).
