Gripping and visceral

A little dark tale, a dash of Japanese elements, inspirational use of the city of Kolkata as one of the characters in the movie and lo, we have an intriguing thriller based on an oriental toy that stands up by itself after falling: okiagari.

Must watch!

Edge of the seat thriller

A rare kind of engaging thriller presented with so much simplicity is the hallmark of the kind of intriguing story which unravels on celluloid by one of my favorite directors, Samik Roychoudhury. The story also has a subtle message that the brunt of separation iof parents most often is borne by the children and has a negative effect on their pshyche, which can later paint a dark side to their character. All in all a must watch family short.
