***SPOILERS***
In my last review, I said I'd had "enough of the goddamn filler." Well, I sure got my wish with this episode!
Jack and Dean complete the final ritual, but before anything happens the first bomb drops: Billie's a snake. With Jack, Chuck and Amara dead, she would be left to fill the power vacuum, and there'd be no one powerful (or willing) enough to stop her, basically making her the new God. And then the second bomb drops: Chuck was behind Billie's whole plan to turn Jack into a suicide bomber, hoping the the boys would kill each other over their difference of opinion. After an intense argument, even coming to blows, Sam manages to get it into Dean's head that Billie's way is the wrong way. Amara, feeling betrayed, decides to side with Chuck. At the end of the episode, Chuck basically gives the boys the finger and tells them to enjoy watching Jack die again.
The acting was phenomenal, especially during the tense exchange between the boys near the end. Maybe I was wrong, and I'm not about to get GOT'd. I hope the last three episodes are as good as this one.

This is probably one of the best episodes of the season .so many twists.First of all we all knew Billie couldnt be trusted but the fact that she wants to be God , didnt expect that !
Dean pointing a gun at Sam was very surprising and hearthbreaking .Why would u do that to Sammy?!! Now how are they going to take down Chuck and Billie?!! The next episode looks to be very good ! Also wasnt Uriel supposed to appear in this episode. I don't remember seeing him
Better than the last 2 episodes.

At last , back to the main story ! This is a vast improvement over the last few episodes and it's good to see Chuck and Amara again . The incident between sam and dean was a bit unrealistic if you ask me because it just wouldn't happen . And im starting to get a bit claustrophobic being stuck in sam and deans bunker and other indoor places for what seams like 60 or 70% of each episode these days too. I know it's because of covid 19 but I could do with a change .
WHAT AN EPISODE!

Why Chuck is nothing more than a twitchy vengeful neurotic this season? What happened to Chuck from season 11? What happened to Amara from the same very season? What happened to that God, who was willing to sacrifice his very existence to save the Creation? What happened to that Darkness, who has willingly choosen to reconcile with her brother? Their relationship was ancient, strange, bitter... and yet hopeful. The beautiful poetic ethereal ending of season 11, with them uniting and leaving Earth behind, to talk and understand each other was the last time we saw true Amara and true Chuck.
Now... it's just that. Bitter looser with broken toys; a poorly skilled writer, that burns his drafts and starts anew. Human-hating disappointed selfish prick. "That Chuck from earlier seasons was never real!!!!" you may hear some of "true fans" screaming. "He was faking it all the time!!!!" they insist. Sure thing, fellows.
That was the plan from Season 1, yup.
I still hope for a twist. Still do. If not... well, my "Supernatural" dvd and blu-ray will go directly to the trash bin. Boy, did I waste my time.

Awesome!!!

This was by far the best episode of the season so far, and one of the best of the series. I'm glad this wasn't another monster of the week episode. The last few minutes were awesome, at least for me. I'm excited to see what the next 3 episodes hold...

Jared and Jensen and Rob are taking this writing and acting the hell out of it. They deserve all the kudos. Dean always thinks he's willing to sacrifice everything right up until he actually has to do it. Has he not noticed this pattern yet? I mean... I really don't see what's so bad about Billie plan.. like seriously kinda weak to me. Next episode looks promising.
EPIC!!!!!

What an episode!!! I didn't expect this to be so good giving how awful last week's episode was! This episode was just... top notch. Acting, directing, writing, soundtracks...etc. I could've never asked for better. 10/10. Very excited to see what happens next week.
This one was just.. on a whole other level.

Supernatural's first kick-ass episode of the Season

'Unity' was an exeptional episode. Tensional, character building, strong acting in places, the tone kept me gripped. Certain smart aspects of story too. I thought Chuck's dialog could have been a bit better though especially the first half of the episode, he's this all powerful God yet sometimes he talks like a suburban teenager, i know being Chuck means a personality but still. I guess that's down to the writers.
Nevertheless, we might actually have chance for a decent ending.

After 2 "flops", this is the show that keeps you on your toes.
Suddenly there is so much going on, the acting + camera is suddenly 2 grades higher and I just can't believe this show even after all these years could captivate me for the whole hour.
It's like night and day between this and the previous episodes.

Boring.
Gilmore1011 November 2020
The 9- and 10-star ratings are a joke. This was so boring. Too much uninteresting dialogue. You can't blame it on Covid because the show has been bad for a while now. It's unfortunate, but true. It should have ended years ago, but instead continued on and became something you can no longer think of fondly because it's so awful. You just want it to die already. I was hoping the last few episodes would be exciting or at least interesting, but I just can't watch anymore.
Legendary. Amazing. Mind blowing. Jaw dropping. Head splitting. Eye balling.

Wow. Kick a$$ good. Now you're talkin' baby. Taken to a new level. Kicked it up a notch. Yea, some of the dialog was dumb and the story was boring but Sam and Dean greatness. They talk they act they look good. Jack so cute. Castiel is my angel. Loved the empty interaction, all the words everyone said and cameras, My Chuck. Tick n' tack yall, hold on to your hats for a bumping ride.
Awesome.It's awesome (c)

Oh, baby. Now we're talking. This is what we want to see.
jagmohankeshari30 October 2020
This episode is much better than the earlier ones. We needed more of such episodes focused on the main storyline. Imagine if at least six previous episodes would have been like this one. A fight against God needs more such episodes. We have had MOTW episodes for fifteen years. Enough. This season is a straight shootout between Chuck and the Winchesters. More episodes like this was needed.
