First half of ep 1-awful. From there, very very good

They ought to either delete the "life at the cable co. offices", nonsense or advise people from here on, you can look forward to an outer limits, twilight zone...type of series. I'm 3 ep's in, and really enjoying it so far.

Feel free to use the fast forward in ep 1.......till the bearded guy is out on the road. It does get better.

You Still Have Those Pants???

So in the Days of COVID I guess we could use a little comic relief. I gotta admit, I was a little confused at the beginning when 'Gus' pulled a BOOK off the shelf. Reading an actual BOOK??? Who does that in the 2020s???

But the scene with the stair/life was funny. +1 Star.

Okay the Haunting of Connelly Nook, was pretty funny. Not really funny as in humorous but more like funny as in ODD. The DOG and the Father, +1 Star.

This is a short show so really needs to take advantage of its half hour to impress. 7/10.

"Who You Gonna Call?"

Warning: Spoilers
I am re-watching this show while I have still got my Amazon account, and it's been a while since I last watched it.

My son Jamie first put me onto this show, and I am so glad he did, here we see an introduction to son and dad Gus and Richard Roberts, along with the Smyle Team.

The Smyle head bod is Dave who wants Gus to train up new operators, but he is not exactly enamoured of the prospect, as he "Prefers to work alone". But nonetheless Dave insists on teaming Gus up with his new partner, "The Greenhorn" who is non other than one Elton John.

Gus Roberts in his after hours has a YouTube channel name Truth Seekers, a glimpse of one of their videos bares a striking resemblance, to the kind of fare shown on TV channels such as Blaze.

Gus and Elton get a request for a call back to an old biddy, and of course Gus doesn't travel without his Ghostbuster kit. In an upstairs room which had been the lady's fathers study, that she had never been allowed in, Gus wants Elton to film him as "The Truth Seeker".

Uniquely Funny

Hang in there with this series. Not only does it get better, it gets hilarious. It's quite unlike anything else I've ever seen, and the laughs build as the storyline proceeds. Liking this enough to put the brakes on a bit, so I don't finish up too soon.

Very intriguing and a New scary funny series

Episode one led you into an interesting new TV series. Frost brings a ghost hunting show into life with a dazzle of comedy. Nick frost is already showing he can make shows as well as films.

Neither here nor there!

Incredibly poor start, not sure I am even interested in giving episode 2 a chance. Haven't laughed once or felt remotely scared by anything that's going on. Nick Frost is literally just bumbling through the scenes and doesn't seem interested at all in any relatable character portrayal. No X-Files agents or Ghostbusters here, just lame broadband engineers. Hugely disappointed!

I thought it was a comedy... wrong again

I saw Simon Pegg and Nick Frost so I figured it was a comedy. But the zero laughs was a dead gove away. It's just a waste of time.
