Following a sexual intercourse with professional photographer Monte, Dalia convinces him to take pictures of her naked. After over 600 shots, Monte becomes inpatient and persuades her for more pleasure as if she were an easy target. Dalia is upset and sends him away from her bedsit. The next morning, Dalia gets her laundry in the communal toilets and meets Disanka, the motherly cleaning lady of the warehouse, who immediately understands that Dalia is not doing ok. While Disanka helps her to hang the laundry out, Dalia confides her feeling of emptiness and loss. Disanka humbly encourages her to attack "the monster" of the past and questions her if she has ever written. Dalia is back in her bedsit and finds a sweet, funny note by her neighbour-friend Faye about an invite to visit her the following day. Following a nightmare, Dalia grabs from under her mattress, a journal given by her mother before her departure to London and a long hand-written list of 132 men. She opens her journal and with a little hesitation she starts recalling her arrival in London two years before and reflects on what she has shamefully achieved nothing during this time. She ends on an upsetting note of how she no longer knows who she really is.
