Shows about ghost hunting and the supernatural, only encourage superstition and conspiracy theories. Yes, it's a social cancer but it's fun! I think sci fi shows like this are entertaining. Especially when well written and acted!

When the guy steps out of the car in front of the house by the street lamp... pretty freaking awesome... good job to the directors on this episode... this show is awesome by the way love it!!! I'm going to give a full review after I watch the season.

We start out here with some ad for another GHOST ADVENTURES clone, GOTHAM GHOSTS. At least they start out in an interesting place, a strip club.
LOL Lindstrom picks up on Kirstens Mom and steals her from her date. Nice.
+1 Star for Lindstrom !!! Emerson is like the only saving grace of this show so far. ' Okay so the Exorcism, is the main focus of this EP. And the banter between the psychiatrist, Kristen vs Acosta and the Exorcist priest.
Then Kristen's kids are led off to a graveyard on Halloween because Kristen's mom is busy flirting on the phone with Lindstrom.
And the Gotham Ghosts are exposed. Ben finds them using a projection camera in the 'haunted house' to make it seem like there are spirits abounding.
And where is Brenda???
Okay I thought this EP was pretty silly really.
But 6/10

The weakest episode so far. The main storyline wasn't all that interesting, and Ben's storyline was pointless other than connecting him to Vanessa, and Kristen replacing him in the main storyline was also pointless; because she wasn't even present for its conclusion, nor was she present for Violet's conversation with David like Kurt was because of the storyline involving her daughters.
I guess it was orchestrated that way so she can remain the skeptical forensic psychologist for a little longer. She hasn't been present yet for something that really will make her start wondering, has she? The camera footage and the virtual assistants don't count as those occurrences were more within Ben's field, to make him begin wondering, not her.

We were continuously looking at each other, smiling because some of the material reminded us of The Exorcist; which we saw in a theatre back in '73. The newer material is a bit campy and you just KNOW something bad is about to happen. Great production work. The best episode so far.

The fact that David put sunglasses on, told Kristen to do the same, then clarified that they were to block eye contact all with a straight face...blew my mind. The fact that no one took the opportunity to say, 'we're on a mission from God' was...crushing. C'mon guys. Be better.
As others have mentioned, Michael Emerson is definitely added value but not sure why they slapped that poor rug on his head...woof.
I want to like this show. I was a big fan of The Good Wife. I was a big fan of The Good Fight, at least for a while. I like high brow and I like low brow. The Wire and Supernatural (at least while it could still laugh at itself). Deadwood and South Park. However, there are so many shows out there lately that get high ratings but are ultimately lacking that I start to feel like I'm taking crazy pills. It's far from terrible but it's also far from good.
