Season 16, episode 167. The independent lab tells Luke that they never did a test with the herbicide. Merle and Luke suspect that the company 'TriFlora' has something to put pressure on this lab. Thomas has enough herbicide left for another test but it seems that the international firm has control over practical all independent laboratories. Thomas asks his daughter Jule if a colleague of her is prepared to commit investigative journalism in this case. A writer's block prevents Johanna from writing the eulogy but she hides that for her son Thomas. Yvonne is fired and applies after job. Dominik tells her that he stays in Lüneburg to be near to his baby. Frank informs Yvonne that the police seeks burglar Dominik. She reacts by sending Dominik out of the house. Gunter tells Amelie that by lack of proof Gregor is still president of the Chamber of Commerce. When the local boulevard paper publishes about this Gregor suspects that Gunter briefed the press. Gunter discovers that it was Amelie and he makes her clear that he doesn't like that. Gregor wants to support Thomas' educational donation action. Thomas closes the deal with him that the donation comes from his firm LKM and he keeps his personal interests in this case away from the press. Amelie shows up during the press meeting and she makes a statement that brings Gregor in an awkward position. Hilli makes Frank clear that Cornelius is her new life partner. There are vague signs that Cornelius might not be the right one for her. Frank talks with Hilli again and they agree to be at least friends.
