A totalitarian system. Factory worker Johann Schoenberger awakes in the headquarters of the secret police, aka the Ministry of Peace Education, accused of a crime he cannot remember. The methodical interrogation by the correctly dressed man at the other end of the table eventually leads him back to an event which put his entire world in question. Desiring to break free from the oppressive routine of his everyday existence, he chose, for the first time, to take risks and reach out to other people. Faced with the consequences of this action, he now has to make a decision that will challenge his integrity and put his life on the line.
