Mike Spinelli takes a brief look at the 50-year history of IMSA running professional sports car racing in North America. He then convinces the privateer team Magnus Racing to hire him as a race strategist for the Six Hours of The Glen where they are competing in the Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) class in the #44 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 driven by John Potter and Andy Lally. Chris Harris compares the street and race versions of two other cars that compete in the GTD class: the Porsche 911 GT3 and Ferrari 488.
