Even crimes that have laid dormant for over fofty years can be brought out into the limelight, and here a victim and killer collide in dramatic fashion.
In the sight of the Lord is a terrific story, it's a cloak and dagger mystery, mixed in with the usual bleak and gritty storytelling. Boyd and co are on great form as they investigate murders old and new.
The special effects are wonderful, the way they recreate the second world war is excellent, great costumes and sets.
The story is unpalatable at times, the behaviour implied by the soldiers is shocking.
A wonderful conclusion to a terrific two part story. 10/10
