Executive Producer Bobby Huntley was heavily influenced by the works of Cinematographer Morgan Cooper's dramatic spin on 'Fresh Prince' and decided to take the story into a thriller/horror genre, putting the beloved character "Vivian Banks" in the focus.
Huntley met with director Colbie Fray at Sundance, 2019. After an extensive conversation that lasted over two hours, they decided to work together in the near future. Two months later Huntley pitched her the concept and she accepted and came on board.

Huntley made several calls and was ultimately able to pull together finances to complete filming without the crew noticing.
Co-producer Mya Morton stepped up onset once they realized the cinematographer was no longer available.
