I love this show! It is such a fresh take on the "home makeover" market that has gotten so dull and redundant. Instead of monetizing renovations or makeovers, this show REALLY tells the stories of the homeowners and what THEY value, ie: their legacies. For every family it is different. Some families have amazing civil rights leaders in their fold, others simply have unique ancestors or collections, or art. It could be the history of the house itself, or it's inhabitants. Either way, I learn something new on every episode and feel more enriched for the experience. The personalities of Matt Paxton's team also shine through and make each find a delight. As an added bonus, I have learned many tips and tricks to downsize my own life and value what's important. I highly recommend this show.
