Student produced at UC Santa Cruz, Film Studio I class, Winter 1980 - under the instruction of Eli Hollander.
This entire film was cut to Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor. It was presented in class using the version from the soundtrack LP of Rollerball (1975).
A closing credits card reads: "For Jay, who I'm sure will get there." This was director Chris Tashima's tribute to his childhood best friend, Jay Trimble, with whom he used to watch reruns of Lost in Space (1965) after school. At the time, Trimble wanted to be an astronaut, and was in part an inspiration for this film. Trimble eventually would work on NASA's Space Shuttle program.
