Miss Multiverse - Australia is a fun new unscripted show that I stumbled upon on Amazon. We've all seen generic modeling competition shows before, but this one was different. The women in the competition were gorgeous but also multifaceted and the show put them through a wide range challenges, which made the show more dynamic. The show is an elimination competition to crown a final winner to represent Australia at Miss Multiverse International. I watched the show during the shelter in place orders, so I was very grateful for ten episodes of escapist entertainment. It's fun and, let's be honest, the women are beautiful to look at too. I think you'll enjoy it too.

Unlike most modeling competition, Miss Multiverse gives us the real and raw of what it really takes to get to the top in the modeling industry. Real women, with Real emotions, sometimes fun, but often a ride that is unexpected in the best way. Highly entertaining, though these are real experiences. Hoping for another season or some continuation of the show.

Miss Multiverse Australia was truly a fun and entertaining series. Made up of 10 episodes, this competition not only showcased a multitude of beautiful ladies but also demonstrated their athletic, emotional, & intellectual abilities. Yolandi Franken produced a fantastic series. Along with her team she was able to assemble the best contestants from the various cities of Australia. There were certainly several ladies who were worthy of the crown but only the eventual winner would go on to represent Australia in the World Miss Multiverse competition.

Do yourself a favour and watch this - best mix ever of reality tv survivor style with so much more dimension to it. Emotional, required drama and just great escapism. The location also just stunning. Can't wait for the next series.

I think the title of this show pretty much says it all... Miss "Multiverse" - Australia. The key word here is "Multiverse". This is not some sort of beauty competition show with stunning women that have the sum total of the IQ of a walnut (and I mean no offense towards walnuts, I love walnuts). This is a fun, well paced, unscripted show that held my interest throughout. (and yes, I did watch all of the episodes and I clearly know who wins in the end). Now, did it help that the women are gorgeous. Well, it certainly didn't hurt. But what I appreciated were their individual talents and all the challenges they were put through. That's what kept me coming back for more. Plus, I developed a favorite and was pulling for her to win (and no, I won't disclose if my favorite won or not, ha-ha). Anyhow, I loved the show so this one gets a big "thumbs up" from me!!

A hilarious, thrilling and relatable series featuring the ups and downs that we all experience sometime in life. Love to see the girls pushing through their limits in the multidimensional challenges, from business, fitness, catwalk to photo shoot...Who is the last one remains standing? Can't wait for another TV show produced by Yolandi, you are a multiverse woman yourself. Proud to see my daughter Alison being part of the journey.

A friend from down under turned me onto this. And I'm so glad he did. So much more than a mere pageant. This is more of a reality competition, and a really good one. There's multiple levels to it. The contestants are tested mentally and physically as well as on their beauty. I started watching Ep. 1 and from there I was hooked. So glad I gave it a shot. Highly entertaining!

Focused on Australia, without the typical cheap sensationality of reality TV, bringing into perspective more than the usual superficial factors, I thought this series was a timely, interesting and refreshing take on beauty pageants.

A very entertaining look into the world of Australian pageantry. The episodes get pretty in-depth at points and I definitely had some favorites that I was hoping would win. Some of my sisters competed in pageants while growing up so I was somewhat familiar with what it was like, but this show definitely added to my behind the scenes knowledge.

Miss Multiverse is totally delightful! It was recommended to me by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be very different than your typical beauty pageants. There are fun challenges and eliminations because these beautiful women are much more than just pretty (which of course they also are). They get eliminated until the winner becomes the Australian rep for the Miss Multiverse International. Really fun and different. Recommend!

I'm a little surprised I watched this as I'm not into beauty pageants or reality shows. But if you want to spend time with beautiful, driven, and smart Australian women, this is the place. The description and trailer is spot on in what the show is about: an extraordinary contest that focuses on physicality, endurance, and intelligence. The show is more of a mix between a reality show and pageant, which is refreshing as I tend to not like a full reality show. It was a nice break from watching shows like Tiger King or other overly sensational series.

Um. So this is not something I would normally watch but I have a lot of extra time with Corona going around now. So much TV is being consumed. That being said, this is a delightful spin on a australian beauty competition that takes its cues from other reality shows but has a certain rawer idiosyncrasies that are quite amusing to me.
Plus there are gorgeous women just doing random things, so that doesn't hurt. But REALLY I am here for these accents. I just love them. I've watched the first couple but will probably stick with this one. Kind of the perfect show to watch while working from home!

Multiverse is a perfect name for this reality show. I love that the show creators have created a series that goes beyond the typical Miss America or "face value" modeling competition. Indeed it's whats inside, skill, talents, knowledge, passion, compassion, and so much more that make up a person as a whole. yes they are all beautiful on the outside, but in THIS series, we get to see what else there is to these beauties, more than skin deep. Better than The Bachelor or other seemingly contrived realty shows, this one intrigued me and was entertaining to watch. Don't judge a model by it's cover.
This is not your usual pageant.

First off, this is not my common fare. That being said, I quickly felt that this show would be something my daughter might enjoy being a part of. The ladies are not pageant divas but true young professional women embarking upon adult life. There is nuance here despite the reality TV trappings, so if you're looking for a not-so-guilty pleasure, Miss Multiverse might just be your cup of tea.
This show ended up being way more fun and compelling than I expected!

Miss Multiverse - Australia was a super fun watch - well paced and expertly produced. It was a fun take on the tried and true reality competition format, and I ended up knocking out the entire season in one sitting on Amazon Prime!

Being a fashion photographer and cinematographer myself, I had a good time watching this show. I'm so glad Yolandi didn't go the easy way and avoided glamorising and dramatizing the whole process and experience. It would be so tempting to do it though. I think she knew that it would've attracted a lot of viewers, but those viewers, I guess, wouldn't be those she would've liked to share her story with.
Very down to earth and showing us all the ups and downs that we mortals have to face from time to time as well. We can easier relate to what we see on the screen.
It was a good sign of good film making when during some scenes I felt quite uncomfortable seeing those girls truly struggling with some challenges they were judged for.
Good choice that I'll be recommending to some of my models to watch.

I know this isn't an exact comparison, but watching this series reminded me of watching Cheer on Netflix. Specifically because I went in not knowing, or even having strong feelings about the subject, but absolutely fell in love with the characters and learned a heck of a lot about the pageant world.

This unique show is a fun and refreshing take on a beauty pageant competition. Of course it's fun to watch for the beauty and fashion catwalk stuff, but I really enjoyed seeing the girls take on different challenges in more real settings. A fun watch from Down Under!

This documentary series offers an insightful look into the world of Australian pageantry. This show was more unique and interesting than a typical pageant show as there were more diverse challenges for the contestants to go through.

I am not much of a reality show guy but this one just comes across so earnest. Making humans endlessly compete for all the things we do is normally too much for me. But this was sweet and fun and it didn't seem like they took it too harshly. And...well...come on...who doesn't want to watch a bunch of ladies compete with physical challenges, dance challenges, brain challenges...yes...they have to be smart too. It's light, its fun, its a bunch of lovely accents from Australia!

This series was a lot of fun and more engaging than I was expecting. I appreciated that it was so much more than your average beauty pageant, and the girls were tested on how well-rounded they were as individuals. Many of the activities they partook in and tests they competed in were pleasantly entertaining. And because these girls are multi-dimensional, they were interesting to watch, and many had captivating personalities. And it's their camaraderie, drama and competition that is compelling and keeps you watching til the end.

Miss multiverse is a very good show about women competing to be miss universe. This show is very informational for any young women wanting to compete in pageants. You may think it's easy to do and u get all the glitz and glamour but that is far from the truth. These girl get put through a lot mentally, physically and emotionally. This is a great show for anyone to watch
