  Henry Roswell : Ah, let's drop the euphemism and call it solitary. Mr. Wallace, you are here to represent yourself and Mr. Bishop?

  Aaron Wallace : Yes sir.

  Henry Roswell : Do you have a response to his accusations?

  Aaron Wallace : Yes sir, I do. No yeast or fermenting agent were found in our cell. No equipment. So I'm not sure what kind of sophisticated operation Captain Foster is referring to. All we had was vegetables.

  Frank Foster : Only vegetables that can be eaten raw are allowed, like tomatoes or celery.

  Henry Roswell : Tomatoes are technically a fruit, but the point is these are still against regulations because they have to be cooked.

  Frank Foster : Thank you, that's affirmative.

  Aaron Wallace : In Appendix C of the allowable items regulation says that any food that must be cooked, are contraband. Now I looked it up. Must is an absolute term. Therefore, any items that can be consumed uncooked, they're allowed.

  [Aaron and Jamal take bites of raw potato] 

  Frank Foster : This is obviously a ridiculous stunt.

  Henry Roswell : Stunt or no, it's a clever argument and highly entertaining.

  Frank Foster : Entertaining is not a criteria.

  Henry Roswell : Because Mr. Wallace and Mr. Bishop already spent a week in the hole, I move to sustain the ticket and suspend punishment, call this thing even. If the Administration doesn't want this to happen again, I recommend they eliminate the word "must" from the regulation.

  Henry Roswell : [as Aaron and Jamal walk out of the hearing]  Well done Mr. Wallace.
