Kenny Everett: Licence to Laugh
jboothmillard26 November 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Kenny Everett was, and is still called one of the great geniuses of comedy, and to celebrate thirty years since he first appeared on television, this documentary remembered his memorable (in the good and bad ways) moments of his career. All footage from his shows, including for Radio 1, Video Show, Video Cassette and Television Show really do show he had a great taste, skill and imagination in making people laugh, and the bad moments show how his homosexuality, personality and problems did shatter his life in more ways than one, till his tragic death of AIDS in 1995. With contributions from friends and fans, including long time comedy partner Cleo Rocos, Barry Cryer, Leigh Francis, Lulu, Paul McKenna, Chris Moyles, Michael Parkinson, Cliff Richard and Chris Tarrant. Good!
