One of the better shows of Ohara. A neighborhood gangster returns after 8 years in prison. He wants to put his gang back together, and reclaim his turf. Ohara is standing in his way.
Sure, there are a couple of problems. Gang members aren't going to become buddy-pals with police officers. And a gangster who just shot somebody isn't going to walk into a Police Station and start a fight with a cop. But those flaws can be overlooked.
As a sub-plot, we get the back story on Detective Jesse Guerrera (aka Jesus, pronounced Hey Soos by his former girlfriend). Yeah, his makeup is a bit much, but he does a good job of portraying the former bad guy who went good and became a cop.
The "Red Winger" leader Tony is excellent in his part. Slightly wall-eyed (with respect), actor Justin Williams is perfect for the character. I wish we had seen more of this guy over the years.
If more shows had been like this one, Ohara might have lasted as a TV series.
