Tub fight!
kfo949418 November 2014
This episode begins with Binghamton in the middle of a bubble-bath from a tub that he confiscated as a spoil of war. He is enjoying his bath while he has restricted the crew of the 73. After some mishap the tub rolls into the street and right against Colonel Harrigan's jeep. Now the Colonel wants the spoil of war and he confiscates Binghamton's tub.

McHale and his crew are in need of a shower and he disobeys orders and takes the 73 toward a nearby town where the army has set up hot showers for the men. On the way they are met by some German planes which damages the the gas line. The 73 creeps onto shore not really knowing where they are located.

They come up to an abandon house and it is not too long before some German officers, on patrol, nears the house. McHale and some of the crew don some local clothing and pretend to be native. Everything is going well until Binghamton, along with Carpenter, rides up with the tub he re-took from Harrigan's jeep. Not the best meeting for the Captain.

There is a few nice scenes in this episode. But overall, just a routine show with nothing really remarkable. We are treated to Ernest Borgnine's use of the Italian language throughout the show which can really helps the logic of the story. The episode did have enough interest to make for, at least, an enjoyable watch.
