"You didn't mean to be such a shallow jerk, it just came out that way"

Pitch perfect on every level with a standout performance from Paul Gleeson as a man forced to let go of everything he's been holding onto over the years.A highly sensitive subject is handled with care, showing the damage secrets can do to individuals and families.By the end of the episode, we're left with a much better idea of the events that have shaped Larry and Aden and given a hope for the future.

Elsewhere, there's another Belle/Geoff scene which manages to get people wondering about their obvious chemistry and Josh Quong Tart continuing to prove an excellent addition as Miles, making the most innocuous of lines funny by delivering them at just the right time and striking up the beginnings of a fun partnership with Leah, getting the best use she's had in years.

The only thing letting the side down is the fight club storyline.Apart from making Ric look like an idiot, this sort of urban grit seems completely out of style with the quiet coastal town.
