Well, there's something positive to be had here, as the characters finally pull themselves up and begin working to prove their innocence. The fact that Ross is willing to hold off and give Morag a chance to prove her theory adds depth to his character...although not enough for us to want him to stick around, as he threatens to do here.
The association between Jack and Martha continues with them both protesting perhaps a little too much;Martha's declaration to Conrad sounds as though she's trying to convince herself more than him. Irene's suspicious nature resurfaces and possibly seems a bit extreme-would she really be so quick to suspect Jack and Martha of murder? Still no real explanation for the blood though...
