And so it all comes together. We already know the answers and so does everyone else, so all that's left is to pull together the evidence at the last minute to save our heroes from jail. There's some nice uncertainty introduced in the way Roman and his friends are unable to find the evidence they need, while other actions seem almost insanely idiotic, like Jack abandoning a vital lead in order to bail out Tony and Jazz. That said, their misadventure does lend a necessary comic tone to proceedings even if the idea of them being held in the same room is a bit far-fetched.
With the episode tightly focused on finding Jack and Martha innocent, there's little room for much else, although Martha jumping to conclusions about Jack and Jazz doesn't bode well for their renewed closeness. But a little moment gives us an indication that Roman's back story may be a lot more complicated than we've believed up until now.
