As the show begins to broaden its focus away from the murder mystery, things actually begins to get interesting. The fight club storyline becomes slightly less irritating now that Matilda's in the know and you almost begin to understand why Ric's doing it.The fact that the police are already on his tail doesn't make things seem very hopeful though. And there's a very odd continuity error when Noel talks to Stewie with his jaw pinned before Rachel has done it.
Elsewhere, it's curtains for Roman and Martha, a couple who were doomed pretty much from the start, freeing him up to help Aden and her up to move back into the caravan park...although probably not for long.
By far the most interesting thing in the episode is the continued interaction between Geoff, Belle, Annie and Melody with everyone seeming to come to an understanding.Belle's role as peacemaker shows how far her character has come on several different levels, as she finds herself playing the big sister. And Geoff has evidently learnt a few things on how to deal with girls:his concern for Melody here is entirely genuine.
