What worked:
Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the quality of the movie while watching the trailer. The movie proved me wrong and I was glad it did. What stood out is the very fine performance by veteran actor Mithila, followed by Sarita's praiseworthy performance. I think the movie achieved this shape by their performances. Dipendra is one of the finest directors that we can vouch on not just for his choice of movie but also the screenplay and the dialogues. It's a very well captured movie so cinematographer needs the praise. It stood par the industry. Of course, the movie came with the message but the duality and the characters' complexity is a strong key point in the movie. It's the situations and the settings that presents in front of the characters that shaped their behavior and it's shown in a very moving and captivating manner. So overall the movie worked and worth the praise it is getting
What did not work:
Of course the movie is fictional and is intended with a mission, I found the way the accused is portrayed being a bit gloried and overly glamorized, not just because it's right or wrong also because the non linear approach would make it more humane and natural. I would have cut down the run time by cropping some of the dramatic scenes to crips the narrative.
Final verdict: recommended
