  • Only some kissing and occasional innuendo.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • Very frequent profanity in all episodes, including regular uses of "fuck" and "shit", and just about every British profanity you can think of. A fair amount of profanity is used aggressively, but much of it is used in casual conversation.

  • A couple of times, the word "cunt" is nearly used but cut off.
  • Very frequent in all episodes.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Although Staged is primarily a comedy, the program is set during the COVID-19 pandemic, giving the series melancholy undertones. The series focuses on two men in showbiz who are out of work and depressed. This can lead to some upsetting moments.
  • Characters occasionally have meltdowns and start screaming at the camera. They are often sudden and unexpected, but can happen at any time as the characters are always on the edge.
