With the future of Little People Big World still uncertain, Matt Roloff recently opened up on how he really feels about the show’s future. So, what did he have to say about it all?
Little People Big World: TLC Show Has Had An Impressive Run
After 25 seasons and hundreds of episodes, no one would blame anyone if Little People Big World ended with Season 25. For watchers who have been watching from the very beginning, since 2006, the Roloff family has been part of their homes for almost two decades.
Within that time, Little People Big World fans have seen all of Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff’s children grow up and start their own families. As much as some viewers have called the show boring, and as much as some agree that the show should end with the last season, other viewers are still hopeful that this isn’t the end just yet.

"The Simpsons," now in its 500th season (okay, it's actually in season 35, but who's counting?) recently made headlines by killing off a character who has been with the show since the beginning. It's not the first time the classic animated sitcom has bumped off a character — Maude Flanders famously died, as did Bart's teacher Mrs. Krabappel, and both instances left poor Ned Flanders a widower. Bleeding Gums Murphy's death sent Lisa Simpson into depression. Dr. Marvin Monroe was said to have died, only to then return. Then, of course, there's the unfortunate Frank Grimes, who died after grabbing some electrical wiring in one of the show's most infamous (and best) episodes. In short, death is nothing new to Springfield — especially when you consider how long "The Simpsons" has been on the air. The characters may not exactly age, but time marches on.
However, this recent character death seems to be getting to people.

One of the best things about the X-Men is the vast roster of characters that allow a myriad of people to see themselves as a member of the mutant superhero team. But if you were a kid who wanted to be all of the mutants, you may have gravitated towards Morph, the shapeshifter who could temporarily take on the appearance and superpowers of any other mutant out there. During my childhood years, there was many an argument about who would get the honor of pretending to be Morph on the playground.
Even though Morph (originally voiced by Ron Rubin) seemed to meet his maker in the first episode of the original "X-Men: The Animated Series," the character eventually returned from his presumed grave, albeit under the influence of the villain Mr. Sinister. Morph used his shapeshifting abilities to create chaos among the X-Men on many occasions, but thankfully, he was only acting on Mr.

This article contains spoilers for The Orville, Star Trek: The Original Series, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Featuring broad comedy and characters who don’t seem to be taking their jobs very seriously, the first trailer for The Orville suggested that the Fox series would be a spoof of Star Trek.
In said trailer, Captain Mercer (Seth MacFarlane) tries to eat a marble and asks an alien to move over so he is framed better in the viewscreen. Lt. Gordon Malloy (Scott Grimes) drinks beer while on duty, flying a shuttle, at 9:15 a.m. Commander Kelly Grayson’s (Adrianne Palicki) former marriage to Mercer is treated to rather stale “comic” arguments about going to therapy. Mercer’s reaction to Lt. Commander Bortus’s (Peter Macon) species being entirely male is to observe, with truly cutting and original wit, that they probably don’t have many arguments about leaving the toilet seat up.

Georgian cinema continues to show thriving signs of life in Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry, a film about a contently independent woman who is faced with the thrills and spills of companionship for the first time. A breakout at Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes earlier this year and a deserved winner, last week, of both best film and actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival, Blackbird is the latest from Elene Naveriani, a 38-year-old director who co-wrote the script with the writer and feminist activist Tamta Melashvili. From that collaboration springs an unlikely tale about the shock of attraction, about how bodies appear depending on how we see them and who’s looking, and about the joys of touch and solitude and whether or not they need be mutually exclusive.
Naveriani’s third feature opens with swagger and a literal cliffhanger: Eto, our immediately likable champion of self-sufficiency, is out picking berries when she...

This article contains spoilers for the "Barry" series finale.
Hollywood and the truth aren't on speaking terms; it's a business founded on make-believe, after all. That's why it's the perfect setting for "Barry." I've written before that the series questions whether people can truly change, and its answer is that most settle for just pretending to be somebody else. Reckoning with the truth can be hard, and the series' epilogue shows how yet another comforting lie won out over reality.
The last scene of the series is John Berkman (Jaeden Martell), the teenage son of Barry (Bill Hader) and Sally (Sarah Goldberg), watching "The Mask Collector" — a highly inaccurate, sensationalized version of his father's life and how it intertwined with the life of acting teacher Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler). "Barry" has always had a satirical outlook on the entertainment industry, and "The Mask Collector" — an overt critique of the true-crime...

Brussels-based company Best Friend Forever has acquired the international rights of Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir’s debut feature “City of Wind.” The film is in post-production and will be ready for a world premiere in fall 2023.
Purev-Ochir is known for several high-profile short films, including “Mountain Cat,” which was in Cannes Competition in 2020, and won best short in Busan in 2020, and “Snow in September,” which was awarded the Golden Lion for best short in Venice, and best short in Toronto last year.
Ze is a timid 17-year-old shaman. He studies hard at school to succeed in the cold, callous society of modern Mongolia, while communing with his ancestral spirit to help those in his community. But when Ze encounters Maralaa, his senses are awakened and another reality seems possible.
The film stars young Mongolian actors such as Tergel Bold-Erdene and Nomin-Erdene Ariunbyamba together with veterans Bulgan Chuluunbat, Ganzorig Tsetsgee and Tsend-Ayush Nyamsuren.

Cars. Family. Willing suspension of disbelief. These three words can basically sum up the two-decade sprawling franchise of the “Fast and Furious” saga. While the premise of the movies has transitioned from more grounded illegal street racing to pure nonsensical fun action heists, it’d seem the relevance of the franchise is fighting against time, but the box office numbers have to say otherwise. However, nine movies—which are part of the original series, one spin-off movie, and even an animated series—later, the franchise is going to end its lap with a movie trilogy, starting with the first part, Fast X, which is releasing this week. With numerous actors already associated with this ever-expanding action franchise, it’s easy to lose track of everything regarding the main narrative. We will like to bring viewers up to speed by trying to chronicle the important events in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

"Fast & Furious" is one of our greatest movie franchises, one that isn't afraid to let go of continuity for the sake of reinventing itself. Perhaps more than any other series of movies — other than "Mission: Impossible" — the "Fast & Furious" films are guided by only one principle: the rule of cool. Whether that's racing a submarine, driving on an endless airport runway, or literally going to space, there is no limit to what the family can do.
We are nearing the end of the road for Dominic Toretto and his family, with "Fast X" just around the corner. So, it is time to look back on the "Fast & Furious" franchise and how we got here. After all, the franchise we have today is not the same as it was in 2001 when "The Fast and the Furious" premiered. So much has changed, the crew has grown, the cars got faster and more furious,...

Colombian filmmaker Laura Mora has clinched the Golden Shell in the main competition of the 70th San Sebastian Film Festival with her latest feature The Kings of the World (Los reyes del mundo).
Billed as a subversive tale of disobedience, friendship, and dignity, the film follows five boys living on the streets of Medellín who set out on a journey in search of the promised land. The film is a Colombian co-production with Luxembourg, France, Mexico, and Norway.
This is the third year running that a film helmed by a woman has taken home the Golden Shell following Dea Kulumbegashvili’s Beginning in 2020 and Alina Grigore’s Blue Moon last year.
This is also the first time a Colombian production has picked up San Sebastian’s top prize in the festival’s seven decades.

“Vive le cinéma!” goes the call from Tabakalera, International Centre of Contemporary Culture, at this year’s San Sebastián International Film Festival (Ssiff).
The Centre’s exhibition hall plays host to four cinematographic installations made by leading global filmmakers, a project which sees them transform their usual cinema-based practice into a more expansive and experimental gallery space.
The exhibition at Tabakalera marks a continuation of the series which began at the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam last year in collaboration with the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Two works from the 2021 exhibition by Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese and Jia Zhang-ke will be on display again in San Sebastián, alongside two new productions from Georgian filmmaker Dea Kulumbegashvili (“Beginning”) and Spanish director Isaki Lacuesta.
“Our main mission is to promote artistic production and to act as a platform to connect a wide audience to the arts of our time,” says Tabakalera’s Cultural Director Clara Montero.

Syndicado Film Sales has boarded Rati Oneli’s “Ulysses,” a working title, as world sales agent and executive producer, and will be looking for financing for the Georgian production at Cannes.
Oneli directed “City of the Sun,” which had its world premiere at the Berlinale in 2017 and won awards at several other festivals, and produced, co-wrote and played a lead role in Dea Kulumbegashvili’s “Beginning,” which was selected in the Official Selection at Cannes, was Georgia’s Official Entry in the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar category, and won best film, director and screenplay at San Sebastian Film Festival in 2020.
“Ulysses,” which Oneli says can be viewed as part noir, part thriller, but in essence is “a metaphysical journey of a man without a past to regain the meaning of life,” is in late development, with shooting set to begin in July. Syndicado is aiming to premiere the pic in the spring next year,...

The Notebook Primer introduces readers to some of the most important figures, films, genres, and movements in film history. It’s not always necessary to know a filmmaker’s biography in order to fully appreciate his or her work, but in the case of François Truffaut, it is not only beneficial, it may also be unavoidable. Few directors have so ardently worn their lives on their cinematic sleeve as Truffaut, persistently projecting his passions on the screen for all to see. Born February 6, 1932, he was a child of World War II, but only later in his career was that great tragedy the subject of conspicuous focus. Rather, his recurring concerns were of a more personal nature, ranging and reappearing throughout his work in the form of fleeting flirtations and complex affairs, the multifaceted unrest of childhood, and, of course, the cinema itself. As a wayward young man, Truffaut found refuge...

Brian Williams devoted the closing segment of The 11th Hour to the news of his departure from NBC News and MSNBC.
He suggested that the show will continue — just without him.
“I ask all those of you who are a part of our loyal viewing audience to remain loyal,” Williams said on the show. “The 11th Hour will remain in good hands produced by the best team in cable news.”
Williams has not said what his next move will be, but announced earlier on Tuesday evening that he would leave the network after his contract ends in December.
He complete comments from the show below:
“Before we go tonight, as the old song says, ‘We got a thing going on.’ Think about it. We’ve been meeting this way at this same time, this same place for an awful long while, five years give or take. Next year is my 40th year in the business.

Eye See You: Koberidze Spins a Modern Fairy Tale of Distracted Perceptions
Georgian director Alexandre Koberidze ascends to a sublime arthouse stature with his curious sophomore feature What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?, a sort-of randomly moderated fairy tale romance, travelogue mussed music video. Arriving shortly after Dea Kulumbegashvili’s exceptional Beginning (2020), Koberidze’s accomplishment heightens the possibility for a budding New Georgian Wave. A provocative mix of tones, inspirations, and playful textures, it’s filled with odd waves of captivation, though its fluctuations may repel whatever initial ambience convinces one of its charm. If you commit to its running time, Koberidze concocts a genre unto itself with this cinema as hypnosis, switching gears every time you feel you’ve figured out where the narrative is headed.…...

Female directors and actors reigned supreme at tonight’s San Sebastian Film Festival awards ceremony, with the Romanian actor-turned-director Alina Grigore taking the Golden Shell for Best Film for her intimate debut feature “Blue Moon.” The film, a raw realist study of a young woman attempting to free herself from an abusive rural household, was an unexpected winner, besting a number of higher-profile auteur films in the festival’s main competition. Yet a full spectrum was covered: At the opposite end of the celebrity scale, Jessica Chastain was one of two Best Leading Performance winners for “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.”
This was the second year in a row that a first-time female filmmaker took the festival’s top prize. Last year, Georgian writer-director Dea Kulumbegashvili swept the board for her debut “Beginning,” which won the Golden Shell in addition to Best Director, Actress and Screenplay. “Zola” (Lionsgate) is the first film based on a viral Twitter thread (and probably won’t be the last), but it’s compelling viewing for reasons that have nothing to do with its provenance. Taylour Paige (“Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”) stars as A’Ziah “Zola” King, a waitress and sometimes stripper whose epic road trip to Florida hits one bump after another. It really is about the company you keep, and Zola is hanging out with a trouble-making dancer (Riley Keough), her hapless boyfriend (Nicholas Braun), and her enigmatic “manager” (Colman Domingo), and the twists are unpredictable, off-putting, and darkly hilarious in Janicza Bravo’s comedy.
Also available: Altered Innocence, one of the best-curated boutique labels around, delivers festival fave “A Dim Valley,” which asks the question, “What if a film about a cabin in the woods was a comedic meditation on love and not a horror movie?...

Exclusive: The Blacklist is headed for a shocker. Megan Boone, the female lead opposite James Spader, is departing the long-running NBC series after eight seasons, I have learned. She will make her last appearance as a series regular in the upcoming Season 8 finale.
The decision about Boone’s exit was made early on, well ahead of The Blacklist‘s Season 9 renewal in January. That allowed the writers to craft the arc for her character, Elizabeth “Liz”” Keen, this season as her final chapter. I hear the decision was mutual, and Boone already is plotting her next move. Reps for NBC and Sony Pictures TV, which produces The Blacklist with Universal TV, had no comment.
With Boone’s departure, Spader, Diego Klattenhoff and Harry Lennix remain the only original cast members on the show.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers through Episode 820 of “The Blacklist.”)
The eighth season of “The Blacklist” moves to a new night next week, a change that will be accompanied by a new story that is sure to satisfy diehard fans of the NBC drama who will finally get answers to questions they have been asking about Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) and Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) since the show’s first season.
As viewers will remember, the previous episode ended with Red revealing to Liz that he is in fact N-13, the elusive spy she’s been hunting this entire season. He takes her to Latvia, to what he describes as the “epicenter,” and opens the door to the promise of answers that Liz has been seeking about the Blacklist.
“At the end of the previous episode, Reddington took Elizabeth Keen to a secret outpost in Latvia,” “The Blacklist” creator Jon Bokenkamp tells TheWrap.

Though more ink was spilled over the potential of a Call Me By Your Name sequel than anything Luca Guadagnino has worked on since the original film’s release, it’s not entirely surprising that the director seems to be walking away from the project after sexual misconduct allegations surrounding Armie Hammer surfaced. Guadagnino has now officially confirmed he’s putting his focus on other projects.
“The truth of the matter is, my heart is still there, but I’m working on [Bones and All] now, and I’m hopefully going to do Scarface soon, and I have many projects and so will focus on this side of the Atlantic and the movies I want to make,” he tells Deadline.
He’s also revealed an expanded cast for Bones and All, which finds him reteaming with Timothée Chalamet, who stars alongside Taylor Russell in the adaptation of Camille DeAngelis’ novel by A Bigger Splash writer Dave Kajganich.

Photo: ‘Things Heard & Seen’/Netflix A Matter Of Family From directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, ‘Things Heard & Seen’ is the newest horror-thriller to hit Netflix. The film follows Amanda Seyfriend and James Norton, as husband and wife, as they move into a new house in upstate New York. After moving in, they soon discover something sinister in both the home and within their marriage. While fairly conventional in its premise, ‘Things Heard & Seen’ executes its premise in a creative enough way that kept me engaged throughout. Going into the film, I had no expectations or any prior knowledge of the novel the film was adapted from which I believe aided in my personal enjoyment of the film. When Ketie Danelia was approached a few years ago with the script for “And Then We Danced,” Levan Akin’s gay romantic drama about a young man’s sexual awakening in the masculine world of Georgian dance, the producer knew the risks. “Everyone was telling me not to take this project, because it’s very dangerous. Which turned out to be true,” she tells Variety.
In a conservative, patriarchal country where the powerful Orthodox Church holds tremendous sway, filming was a challenge. Locations would balk at the last minute, concerned about the potential backlash; far-right groups threatened the cast and crew. When the movie finally premiered in Tbilisi in 2019, after bowing in Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight to rave reviews, police units had to escort moviegoers into the cinema. Yet through it all, Danelia remained undaunted. “I knew why I was doing it,” she says.
