Uh I think other reviews we're wrong...

Not sure what the other reviews are about but if you enjoy Ghost adventures the series, you will enjoy this mini series. Its all done in the Haunted Museum (which i have been to, and can attest to its creepiness and unnatural occurrences) excluding a couple scenes and its done without a production crew, only the 4 GAC guys Jay Billy Aaron and Zak. Billy is annoying as usual. Sorry not sorry.

Some great interviews and evidence when compared to a regular episode. Its dramatic, creepy, and entertaining. I would suggest it if you are a fan of the show. And i recommend traveling to Vegas to see the artifacts for yourself, it makes these episodes that much more interesting.

I hate the t.v show -and- Bagans. Why would I watch this? Besides, there's better on YouTube.

So I could watch Rockstar Zack look intellectual until he get's "effected" and becomes all abusive to his crew and cast-mates?

No thanks. These guy's seriously damage the rep of "paranormal research" by passing off circumstantial evidence at best as "legit" evidence.

I unfortunately dont think this is going anywhere - it's bottom of the barrel cheap to produce and gets enough ratings for it just to be worth it. There's far better "research": on YouTube, where the "star" isnt absuve to his 'friends'

When will they learn..

Warning: Spoilers
I watched all Seasons of this show just for entertainment purpose. It's well made. Althoug in Episode 3 of Lockdown it really got me on the wrong foot: they use The Satanic Bible by Szanador LaVey and the Necronomicon by Lovecraft to get some paranormal "results". First: The Necronomicon is a fictional book written by Lovecraft who is a fantasy horror author. There is not even a legitimate discussion if his work is true or not, his work is purely fictional, it's not even pseudo-science. Everyone knows he wrote the Necronomicon to create some sort of backing mythology for his horror novels which center around Cthulhu. To use this in a way to get some paranormal results shows the lack of seriousness and backup knowledge for occult things from this guys.

Second they use the "Satanic Bible" by Lavey. I'm myself into occultism and LaVey Satanism is shunned by occultists, Satanists and Luciferians because it has nothing to do with demons, satan or spirits. LaVey created his concept of "philosophy" to make money, second: to mak fun of spiritual religions and mock them. Real theosophic Occultists like me feel very fooled by LaVeys attempt to bring up the name Satan with his nonsensical philosophy. He was never a real satanist but the public see his books "the satanic bible" among others for 10 bucks on amazon and think this is the real deal. That's really sad.

And most of all: You can't get any paranoraml results or summon spirits and demons with these books. Their lack of knowledge towards occultism while using every book they think is "evil" hurts their credibility. Paranormal Investigators really should know better...

Zak seems to have lost his way a bit.
tracyparnham27 July 2020
I've watched all the Ghost Adventures series, and used to really love it. I notice Zak having a slightly mean streak towards his other investigators, I also pick up a slight sense of desperation. I absolutely love Jay Wasley, he comes over as gentle and honest. One of the most scariest episodes to me was the 'St. Annes retreat' I was really riveted, and loved it. But sadly I think it's all a bit exaggerated now, I know there are lots of different competing programmes out there doing the same sort of thing. But keep it real guys like you used to and you will have my vote.

The worst and most annoying paranormal tv series
This is probably the worst paranormal tv series ever. How anyone can deal with the painfully annoying and ham actor Zak and his band of idiots is beyond comprehension. From the fake and embarrassingly scripted dialogue, ham acting and overblown music, its unbearable to watch. It's not even so bad It's good television, it's just awful, full stop. The ghosts must be turning in their graves. There's better TV shows out there, like Kindred Spirits and the sadly cancelled Destination Fear (thankfully havd moved onto YouTube). Mostly there's better new and more credible channels on YouTube these days too. Don't insult your intelligence and avoid at all costs.

Could be enthralling but...

This show is big on buildup with Zack being the lead. He is very melodramatic. The yelling and "surprise" effects are really unnecessary. The film is very hazy most time and truly show nothing of importance. I've live in two houses with spirits, one I grew up in and one I purchased. There were sounds, smells a plenty but nothing as "terror filled" as this crew makes them out to be. Watch other shows in the genre especially the ones which help the spirits move on. This is like a low rent side show.

Dybbuk Box Hoax
tami_loves_noles2 August 2023
The whole dybbuk box hoax was created by a writer who built a story to sell a small wine bar on EBay. He's admitted to it repeatedly along this whole show ridiculous. I only just began watching episodes airing on Trvl since retirement provides way too much free time. After seeing the 4 Covid Shutdown episodes I am out. Even their silly comments about their masks and being spit on by possibly infected homeless people outside the gates make it clear that these guys are in researching how to make a buck via misinformation. What an embarrassment they are. One more reason to permanently cut out my cable TV.
