"How was your first day?"

Warning: Spoilers
After the heavy material she's been lumbered with since she came back, it's nice to see Christie Hayes being given a chance to show off her comic timing.Although it helps that she's paired with Josh Quong Tart, the king of the one-liner.There's also a nice double act between Kirsty and Jai, who Miles ropes in as their best hope. It's a shame then that the episode ends with Kirsty shouting at Nicole. It's presumably meant to demonstrate her newfound confidence and authority but although she makes some points about her attitude it's another example of Nicole being dumped on when she doesn't really deserve it; her collisions with Kirsty are accidental and she is genuinely trying to help Geoff.

Not much comedy to be had in Jack and Martha's storyline but it's nice to see them functioning as a unit for once rather than crumbling under the pressure. At least the writers avoid having Rachel pull a rabbit out of a hat.Ruby still seems to be sidelined even if she does now have people to talk to.Although she does get to act bewildered about Aden and Belle's relationship, in what appears to be a bit of pre-emptive criticism.
