Everybody knows the Brady boys are not actually related to the Brady girls. It's been a welcome subject for stand up comics since 1969 and was even addressed in the 90s movie versions. Unfortunately, this hardcore version is too PC to grab onto the ample opportunity provided and run with it. Only at the end of the two hour running time (!) do Marcia and Greg get down to it, and even this scene turns out to be (spoiler) some kind of dream sequence. Sure, Carol and Mike have a sex scene and all the other family members are featured in sexual situations, but only with friends and strangers (and only one scene each). Alice and Sam the Butcher, despite being played by porn legends Lynn Lemay and Ron Jeremy, never even take their clothes off. Rumors about the actors playing Carol and Greg having an affair on set and those of 'sisterly' love between Marcia and Jan are not explored in this script at all.
The plot follows the same premise as 1993's "The Maddams Family", which also starred Mike Horner as the patriarch. The family has money problems and is about to lose the house. So the kids try to get jobs without telling their parents. Marcia applies for a modeling job at Chatworth Models, but has to think about it when uncle Lu Brigaté asks her to pose in the nude and more. Bobby follows her there and gets to perform in front of the camera (though he apparently doesn't get paid for it). He has sex with Katie (a friend of Gregs) who works for uncle Lu. Sam the Butcher is also hanging around the place, and later on when Greg asks Sam for a job cutting meat, Sam says has already given it to Bobby.
So the kids start a neighborhood car wash. Of course only the girls do any of the actual washing. One tattooed customer who looks like he would own a motorcycle instead of a car tells Cindy she can make some really big money by utilizing her undiscovered talents. After this the whole 'were in need of money' plot basically gets thrown out the window as the film concentrates on some extended carnal sequences. The first involves Jan and her boyfriend Ramone (Katie's brother, to keep it in the family) in the garden (even though Alice says it's in Jan's room). Next Peter's girlfriends Ronique and Alina come over for some fun and games in the boy's bunk beds. Later on Mike and Carol inexplicably have the entire house to themselves and get down to some old fashioned love making.
Finally, Marcia is hit on the nose with a football, like she always is, which marks the start of the dream sequence in which she more or less forces Greg to make their own private porn movie to sell to uncle Lu. Just before they finish up, Marcia suddenly regrets her decision and then wakes up Judy Garland style with the entire cast surrounding her bed. What a cop-out. It's a real shame as the production values by X-play are really quite exceptional. The colorful sets and costumes are spot on, as well as make-up, hair, incidental music and some of the cornier lines. Soon X-play announced a sequel in which only Marica, Cindy and Greg were being replaced, but "Marcia Marcia Marcia" featured even less Brady on Brady action: even Mike and Carrol remained fully clothed that time.
Having recently read an interview with Will Ryder, it turns out that they actually had trouble selling the film to some publishers because there was a hint of incest in it. So that explains it. It's not Will who's too PC, it's the distributors. In the article, Ryder talked about working on a third installment and promised that once the most successful days of this series are over, he'll end the series with one enormous family gathering (if you get my drift).
