- Quotes
Phineas: Ferb and I are going to use a laser to carve our faces in the comet, so that when it passes over again in 73.5 years our grandchildren will see it. By the way my parents are cooking outdoor steaks for everyone. What do you think Isabella?
Isabella: You had me at "our grandchildren".
Phineas: Huh?
Isabella: Steaks! You had me at "steaks".

Sports competitions and comets
'Phineas and Ferb' was one of the few Disney Channel shows in (relatively) recent years that was watched by me and my siblings, also Disney fans, since its inception and continued to watch completely hooked, the re-runs being holiday highlights. That's no joke. The earlier episodes are better than the later ones, funnier and more creative, but even when the show was not at its best it was better than quite a lot of the shows airing on Disney Channel, which has not been the same it used to be for years, at the time.
"Got Game?" and "Comet Kermillian" are both fine examples of why 'Phineas and Ferb' is so worth watching. Even if neither see the show at its very best, lacking the extra something. Both have interesting scenarios on paper (even if "Got Game's" is not particularly original for the show) and both make the most of it, "Comet Kermillian" even exceeds it. One episode is very good, though it didn't bowl me over. The other was just great in almost every area.
Maybe "Got Game?" could have done with a little more variety, as this is not the first sports-oriented episode of 'Phineas and Ferb' and the formula here is similar to those. My only issue with "Count Kermillian" is Suzy's treatment of Candace came over as a little too cruel.
However, both episodes are beautifully animated. Especially "Comet Kermillian", though there is no signs of sloppiness in "Got Game?". It is vibrant and beautifully detailed as is typical for 'Phineas and Ferb'. The music is dynamic, and the theme song is one of the catchiest of any animated show in recent years. Very infectious melody and the lyrics are quotable, accompanied by a clever titles sequence.
Writing is witty and is accessible for children and adults alike, nothing is simplistic here while still being easy to understand. There are plenty of gags here and neither of them miss. The storytelling is charming and amusing in "Got Game?" and the atmosphere of sports competitions is authentically done. That in "Comet Kermillian" is imaginatively executed and is worth it for the Perry and Doofenschmirtz subplot, which is wonderfully insane as ought and a hoot.
The characters are all well written, the conflict between Isabella and Buford doesn't get tiresome and cannot get enough of the chemistry between Perry and Doofenschmirtz. The voice acting is very good.
In conclusion, great. 9/10
