What's the point then for Kissing Booth 1?
fersiaf11 August 2021
The movie is just weird. Like, there's no storyline at all.. a bunch of scenes knitted together and making no sense at all and then giving you a 6 years later at the end. What's the point of Kissing Booth 1 then. It's just like watching an episode of a tv series.
Oh no

This movie is so God awful... we really did not need this. Also, realistically nothing makes sense if you are saving money for college how are you spending this money on sky diving and swimming with sharks??? On a waitress salary that ain't happening. And I have a hard time believing his parents would pay for such excursions. Also going to Harvard... freshman year... living off campus with your boyfriend ain't gonna happen sis. I know this is a movie but thinking realistically, here, that just can't happen in the real world. The first two movies were just ok this one was bad and I cannot believe I am leaving a review for this.
Epitome of cringe

This is like the most pathetic thing ever. All those forced cliche jokes and lame storyline, makes me wanna throw up. It's nothing but rich kids partying and stressing over some stupid list they made when they were toddlers.
Absolutely Disaster - No soul of Kissing Booth
iamkrishnashrestha11 August 2021
It's Dead, there is no soul of Kissing Booth at all. Just getting boring and boring, no excitement at all. This is an absolute unnecessary and pointless Sequel of Kissing Booth.
Please STOP making sequel in the name of Kissing Booth if there is no soul of it. There is no point, It's an absolutely disaster.

I have to say this movie surprised me. I was expecting the same old sappy and cheesy story. But we finally see truth and reality from each of the characters. I actually enjoyed seeing Elle´s development. It really taught a life lesson.
However, given that the previous 2 movies were a litte repetitive, if you´re expecting to see more of the same then you might be dissapointed. But I think that it is the best out of thr trilogy.

Last movie ruined the trilogy. Disappointing all around.

I love the first and 2nd movie. Corny yet sweet teen romance is a guilty pleasure. We watch these movies for the fantasy and cheesiness of first loves, not to be slapped in the face with the reality that most relationships don't work out. I watch these movies for the hope that this stuff does exist. Somewhere.
Elle and Noah were made out to have this "epic love"-she finally got the boy she always had a crush on, that she grew up around her whole life, but really when you look at it over the course of the movies they spent more time apart (or fighting) than actually enjoying being together! Makes no sense. All we got of them actually being happy were a few montages.
This movie was all over the place and disjointed. Major lack of chemistry all around and I felt like I was watching Joey and Jacob's real life relationship dissolve on screen like it probably did for them in real life. They didn't really have any significant or good scenes together, was all very standoffish and awkward. Like they were purposely kept apart. Just felt weird considering the way #2 ended. I thought this movie would be more pleasant with better character development, and then maybe at the end her making the tough choice to go to a different school.
Marco was useless in this one since it was never about choosing a guy. They made it about Elle choosing herself, which is fine, but I wish there would have been more to it. The way her and Noah ended was just trash. But she was also wrong for how she engaged with Marco when Noah was clearly bothered by it and expressed it numerous times. She actively sought Marco's attention. Noah was right to be pissed and even when he tried to make up for it she was still always catering to Lee. I felt like Noah fought way more to save the relationship and to show her he cared than Elle ever did.
Elle and Lee have always had an unhealthy codependent friendship and I am glad she finally called him out, but he really had no character development at all. He flips out and acts like a baby over everything and yet HE gets the happy ending? Trash.
Chloe's character wasn't utilized the way it should have been either. I was hoping her and Elle would become close.
Just a mess of a final movie and it made me sad. To All the Boys Always and Forever finale was so much better and sweeter. The plots for both series is somewhat similar, but To All The Boys just did it better. Better script, better plot, better execution of the last movie. I finished that movie satisfied.
Even if it is unrealistic for HS sweethearts to stay together..that's what we watch movies for! The escape from reality.
I finished this movie wondering why I wasted my time.

KB3 is a good easy to watch film but the ending was disappointing and predictable! Happy to see our fave besties on screen again. Final round up to the trilogy. Some entertaining bits but not the same magic as the first two! Some reviews on here are clearly from people who hate the first two films so not sure why they even watched it.
A Bittersweet Ending to a Great Series!

Warning: Spoilers
This movie hasn't been getting good reviews and I don't understand why! My favourite movie personally is the second one but there were a lot of important messages in this third installment. After the finale of the second movie I had a feeling that Elle would end up choosing an entirely different college and I'm so glad that she did that for herself and pursued what she truly wanted to do, dropping the need to keep everyone else happy. I also felt like the ending was great, Noah and Elle both felt ready at that point and mature enough to explore the special bond they had. Noah always showed a lot of red flags in the movies and Elle was definitely trying so hard to please everyone else that at one point Noah was trying harder than her in this third one to make it work. After Elle put herself first and became her own person, upon seeing him again you could tell they were ready. The ending leaves their fate open to interpretation, but I think there's a heavy implication that it worked out!
The movie didn't have as many laughs but it was still funny and two scenes in particular were really great! It also had very emotional moments and I will really miss the series!

What a let down, me and my wife sat down to watch this film with duck pancakes as a light snack and oh my god this film ruined my date night. This film was so bad I went outside and sat with my ginger cat and watched the mould grow on the side of my house. I will not be recommending this film to my golf buddies.
I feel bad for the actors that they had to put so much hours of work into this stupid plot less movie

Kissing booth 1 was so amazing. Kissing booth 2 was okay but predictable. But this one is absolutely nuts but I had to watch it to finish the trilogy so I didn't actually watch it instead listened to it at 1.5x speed while studying lol. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. The fact that the leads were real life couple and had to put up wuth each for 2 more movies just for the contract made the movie MORE CRINGY FOR ME.
This movie should be called The Vomiting Booth
markjdwang13 August 2021
The 1st movie was unexpectedly cute and funny. The 2nd movie was ok but started to loose it's charm and this movie is just garbage. Why is 2 very attractive men fighting over Elle who is not very cute and full of drama. All she does is break promises and cry. Stop making this movie.
Unnecessary Cringe, but maybe worth for one message
criscal16 August 2021
The movie was full of teenage drama, despite all of them being highschool graduates. It was a lot of crying. The worst though was that there was no story-line to follow, no climax. Also the movie was full of clichés and thus no surprises.
The only redeeming message is that you should follow your own dreams when talking about college and not make it dependant on others.

I found the list scenes funny, like the Mario theme and the flash mob. But the competition between Noah and Marco was childish and petty. She already chose Noah, so why is he acting like that? Marco only staying in the area because of a girl who didn't choose him...what idiot does that?? The conversation at the end with the "mom" was so refreshing and reflected the maturity this movie desperately needed.
They've managed to make it worst!

All character development was thrown away!
This is just unbelievable... not only to mention the effortless acting from every single character in this movie (it seems that nobody wanted to perform or to do their best, everything was just casual), the movie is bad.
Additionally, the use of the beach house as a type of metaphor or alliteration to "demolishing" something old to start something new only works, apparently, with Elle...
The pace is fast and desperate, trying to prove a point of maturity on the characters, which is sort of contradictory because everyone is so selfish and stuck in the past.
NO ONE TRULY EVOLVES AS THE WAY THE MOVIE TRIES TO SHOW
Suddenly, a romantic comedy starts to become a careless movie that plays with each characters relationship (going back and forth) with no intention on showing their development as human beings.
I'm more than disappointed, because this trilogy was never supposed to end this way, and shouldn't be made in the first place.
Overall, they did make it, and ended it as the worst possible way they could.
Ps: the only scene that was worth the effort of watching this, was the Mario Kart scene (resemblance with the Speed Racer from the Wachowski Brothers).

The only thing that kept me watching this film was the stupidity of everything. Laughing at the film, not with it. Pretty cringe and expectedly horrible overall. This isn't a good film for anyone over the age of 13.
