The only diverting moment for me in this deadly dull Adam & Eve release comes early on, as Anikka Albrite is introducing the show, making the Freudian slip as she states its title as "Wide Open Couples", a throwback to sleazy porn titles of the 1970s.
Open couples is a reference to open marriage, as two pairs of married porn stars have sex (as usual) and also group sex.
This is a truly dumb idea for a porn video, in that porn couples have already decided way back when that they can tolerate the spouse having sex with countless men and women for a buck. It's part of the sex worker profession, in this case screen actor division.
Director Jay Allan, who has a perfect record of turning in lousy content to Adam & Eve, gussies up the show with lovely locations, creating a romantic backdrop for filler shots, not the boring XXX main event.
