2 Girls 1 Guy and a Canal Boat!!!

A stirring ode to the old school British gothic horror that not only invites you into this quaint and obscure life on the riverside but also does it's best to make you feel like one of the Regulars.. Linton is on form as usual and the odd couple chemistry with Botha is palpable as usual.

Very different strokes from Director Kemal Yildrim but one again he proves that no matter the brush he decides to use he paints a wonderful intriguing canvas.

Haunting of Lady Jane is by no means the perfect movie (are there any) but for every nitpick you could have... there is a gorgeous stirring score to compensate... sensational gothic macabre setups to get lost In and a real sense that this cast and crew are well aware what they making here and who they are making it for.

Blending Modern Life With Traditional Folk Lore

Warning: Spoilers
There is a lot to enjoy in this film and I loved that I appreciated certain aspects even more on the second viewing.

It's a powerful start and I really enjoyed the unfolding stories of each character's story and how they intertwined with each other in both positive and negative ways.

A reflection on modern life, touching on female empowerment, technology, communication and the role that religion and religious ideals are still part of what informs our interpretation of our lifestyles.

There are some wonderful twists, expected and unexpected helping to create a very satisfying arc to each character and a wonderful conclusion to the story.

Really great music throughout, dark and powerful in the right places.

Exploring themes of redemption, self-discovery, and the consequences of sin, as the characters face both the natural and the supernatural consequences of their past actions.

Overall I highly recommend it, well paced with both tension and action keeping the pace and building to the end.
