Meet Paris Hilton 2.0. Love her or hate her, there's no denying Hilton is one of the savviest stars of her generation. Using her status as a hotel heiress, she became a jet-setting socialite, eventually scoring her own reality series, The Simple Life, which ran for five seasons from 2003 to 2007. Her arrests, breakups and conflicts made headlines for years, all while Hilton furthered her fame with MTV's Paris Hilton's My New Bff (and its two international spinoffs) and Oxygen's The World According to Paris. Since then, Hilton has worked hard to move past the image she perpetuated. "I want to be known as a businesswoman. I don't want to be known as a reality TV star; I don't like the way...

"Fake Off" is a new truTV competition competition that makes absolutely no sense. Yet: the acts performed by its competing groups are undeniably watchable. Imagine the blacklight acts from "America's Got Talent" (e.g. Fighting Gravity) put into a blender with "America's Best Dance Crew" and some choreography from "So You Think You Can Dance," along with chunks of the half a dozen knock-of cable TV competition series, and you have "Fake Off." It is a weird show. To start, "Fake Off" is a competition between groups that do something called "faking," but what exactly is that? It's never really defined, nor is the competition itself, since no one was eliminated in the first episode and five new teams will appear in the second episode. Is it a bracketed competition? Who knows! "Faking"--a term that does not give meaningful results in Google or Wikipedia, even when combined with other...

Paris Hilton has finally chosen the winner of her reality show "Paris Hilton's My New Bff". During the August 4 finale for season 2, Paris brought back the fallen and crowned him her new Bff. Stephen Hampton, the contestant who got eliminated last week, was called up and he eventually convinced Paris that he is the 'one'.
Stephen consequently beat Stefanie Fritz and Tiniecia Goldsmith who were actually the two finalists. Upon sending home Stephen last week, Paris thought that she could not have a boy as a Bff although he came out as gay. She eventually decided to follow her heart and found that none of the girls can beat him.
"I Absolutely Love And Adore My New Bff! So Excited To Hit The Town Together! Huge!" Paris wrote on her Twitter shortly after the finale was aired on MTV. She added later, "He's real, he's true, he's sexy and he is the sweetest boy ever!

Paris Hilton has warned fans not to buy tickets for a forthcoming Dubai club night - after the bar's bosses falsely claimed she would be making a personal appearance at the bash.
The heiress touched down in United Arab Emirates earlier this week (beg15Jun09) to begin shooting her new TV show Paris Hilton's My New Bff: Dubai, and had lined up a string of publicity stunts at the city's bars.
But Hilton was left furious after spotting ads promoting her planned visit to Bed club on Wednesday night - because she hadn't agreed to turn up to the establishment.
She writes on her blog, "Some club in Dubai named Bed is falsely advertising everywhere here that I am doing a club appearance at their club tonight. I just want everyone to know that this is not true. I have no idea about this and it is wrong of them to lie to everyone and pretend I am going there.
"I will be doing appearances during my stay here, but they are booked through my agents. So don't believe these people, I am not going to this club and never approved this appearance."
"It just really annoys me that a club will use my name without my permission and without paying my rate and then trick a bunch of people into going to their club. It's not right and I am sick of people getting away with it."...

Paris Hilton through her rep has just made a confirmation of her split from Doug Reinhardt. Now, she has already been seen hanging out with another guy. On Wednesday night, June 10, the "Paris Hilton's My New Bff" star and Cristiano Ronaldo were snapped snuggling up at MyHouse club in Los Angeles.
Paris, who came to the club with her sister, Nicky Hilton, seemed attracting Cristiano's attention. It was said that he stared at the hotel heiress all night before he finally came over her. Some pictures obtained by TMZ showed the two sat very close to each other that night. He allegedly could not keep his hands off her and the reality TV star reportedly kissed the soccer player for hours. "Cristiano and Paris were all over each other ...," a source reported.
The insider claimed there were large quantities of alcohol served for Cristiano's table that night. It was reported that he spent about 20,000 U.

It is no doubt that Paris Hilton knows how to handle with being famous. She is well acquainted with posing in front of cameras. Thus, the "Paris Hilton's My New Bff" star wasn't reluctant at all when Extra asked her to give Susan Boyle advice for paparazzi shots.
"I think Susan has an amazing voice," Paris said, praising the "Britain's Got Talent" star who finished second on the singing competition. Then she quickly added, "But she needs to work on the pose..." The hotel heiress argued that Susan should change her appearance because she is already a famous singer, saying "I think she should come up with something new... since she's such a huge celebrity now..."
Paris also suggested Susan to get a hairstylist and wear beautiful costumes which will make the Scottish lady looks amazing. "I suggest getting a stylist," she stated, before adding "She could look really hot...

Paris Hilton rolled up to the Ed Sullivan theater last night, sporting a new pair of sunglasses from her own line and Doug on her arm. Her interview with Dave won't air until Friday, but we'll get plenty of Paris tonight on the season premiere of Paris Hilton's My New Bff. Don't expect the heiress to stop there, either - she's already gearing up to search for yet another best friend when her reality series heads to Dubai. This is starting to seem pathetic. Having apparently exhausted opportunities for friendship in the U.S. and Britain, Paris Hilton is already making plans to find a stranger willing to become her best friend forever—or at least until the cameras stop rolling. The current installment of the show—in which she tells E! Online's Watch With Kristin that she will be a stricter judge of friend material—premieres today on MTV. If that doesn't pan out, Variety reports the next iteration of Paris Hilton's My New Bff will land the Hollywood celebutante in the United Arab Emirate of Dubai. Hilton and Bfn (Boyfriend for Now) Doug Reinhardt will spend 17 days getting to know the culture, the...

Our favorite scripted shows are gone, so it's time to give some summer reality programs a shot—like season two of Paris Hilton's My New Bff. Sure it's filled with preplanned scenarios (such as testing out a stripper pole), scripted events (a bachelor party for one of her guy friends) and silly challenges (like trying to find an egg in a larger-than-life-size cupcake), but if guilty-pleasure TV (à la Rock of Love, or really anything on MTV or VH1) gives you a giggle once in a while, then so will Paris' second season, which debuts Tuesday on MTV. We sat down with Miss Hilton to get the dirt on season two, which will feature guest appearances by Lil' Kim, Kathy Griffin and...

Stephanie Pratt demanded an apology from Paris Hilton who took a jab at "The Hills". During her appearance at FiFi Awards earlier this week, Paris said that her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt would not be back on the show, saying "The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn't even want to be a part of it."
Stephanie, who is one of the regulars in "Hills", thought that it was a mean statement considering that Paris also stars in a number of reality series. "Doug's not even on the show, so I don't even understand that," Stephanie said. "And in real life he is friends with those boys, so it's not fake. I would never call her show dumb, so I think she should apologize."
Doug in fact, was featured in several episodes of "Hills" in 2008, as the love interest of Lauren Conrad. He was later dumped by Conrad and...

Fresh off turning heads at the Cannes Film Festival, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt were at the perfume industry FiFi Awards in NYC last night. Paris took home the prize for female celebrity fragrance of the year and also talked about why Doug is too good for The Hills. She said, "The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn't even want to be a part of it. They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it's lame. I've never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it's about. But he just thought it was cheesy." Paris also mentioned that Doug will making an appearance on the second season of Paris Hilton's My New Bff, so apparently he hasn't entirely lost his taste for reality TV. Cannes -- MTV is going to Paris.
The network has bought television rights to "Paris, Not France," Adria Petty's documentary about the behind-the-scenes life and persona of the young socialite.
MTV, which is currently airing the second season of "Paris Hilton's My New Bff," is tentatively planning to air the documentary on the network this summer.
Petty, known primarily as a music video director, had enormous access both to Hilton's private life and her public jetsetting one. She also interviews a large number of Hilton's family and friends.
The film essentially shows that the public caricature of Hilton as a ditzy party girl is mainly a character invented for entertainment purposes, and the actual Hilton is far more thoughtful and self-aware. Indeed, in a number of interviews in the piece she comes across as such.
Originally commissioned as an add-on to a music video DVD, the project grew into a...
