Sex & Nudity

  • One character asks if 2 characters are kissing implying that it's sex but, it isn't - it was a good luck kiss.

Violence & Gore

  • A character slip on a piece of wood in a river, the man falls and wedges his food between two pieces of wood, which causes the man's leg is split into two. We see the wound for a few seconds which is really bloody and see a big bone hanging out. (The accident scene is pretty intense and the view of the wound is pretty graphic for a PG movie, it isn't gory but a little bloody).

Profanity

  • I was surprised this "family" film had so many profanities, nothing real bad, but does have these words throughout the film - probably at least 10 uses of the words hell, as*, dam*, and possibly more.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • At the beginning of the movie, we see a boy using a wheelbarrow with a body inside of a rug, the arms and legs are hanging over the edges. The boy digs a hole and throws the body inside the hole (you don't see the body).
  • As mentioned above, the scene where the man breaks his leg is pretty intense and the wound is pretty graphic.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The death of Kit can be very emotional as it occurs offscreen in the hospital. Before it happens, you can see him coughing and sneezing with Moon trying to help him in the woods.
