a truly great short film

i saw this in Los Angeles last year & it's still with me.

this really is a GREAT piece.

there is a very intense atmosphere from moment one & i was immediately 'in'.

from a very simple premise & with beautiful photography, this film manages to address fundamental questions regarding the human condition in a completely natural & intelligent manner.

there is a steady organic pace & there is a real sophistication to this film. my feelings & thoughts changed constantly, without feeling manipulated.

there is mystery, fear, a strong sexual tension through out, it's very tender & poignant and the tension really does build.

Madeleine Potter is just SUPERB, as is Bill Camp. is a joy to see such skilled, truthful actors communicating with each other. The journey these characters go on, in a very short time is just beautiful....... ......these two human beings in the middle of nowhere.

there were times when i was truly frightened - the suspense very real & visceral.

this filmmaker has real talent & a very steady eye & heart. he has true courage & trusts us as an audience.

if you can, see this film. it's very very cool.
