An alright show
ABigFatOrange1219 July 2020
Many people hate this show as they say it's a Thomas and Friends rip off. I was one of them. But I decided to watch some episodes a few months after this mindset started and it wasn't that bad. The stories are honestly interesting and alright but nothing spectacular. I like the engines designs, the animation is quite good, especially by 2008s standards.

I think this show is not as good as Thomas (but better than series 13-16 of thomas), but it has it's charm and will get some enjoyment out of you.

My Grandson LOVES This!!
kellyrned19 August 2018
As a major fan of trains and already has 4 train tracks between his home and mine, my grandson cannot stop watching this! He loves this show, and I even think it's very entertaining and very well made. I never knew how many different stories and ways to teach children lessons and manners could be done with trains until watching this show. Every episode has a lesson to learn. My grandson is 2 yrs, 3 mos. old and whenever it gets close to evening time, he says "trains, trains" until he gets our attention and we know this show must come on. It's a must-watch for all young children!

Enjoyable and wholesome fun.

I discovered Chuggington whilst watching CBeebies with my now six month old son who at the time was about three months old. I noticed his excitement at the beginning credits and the absolute awe with which he would watch the screen.

The show is CGI, colourful, vibrant and wholesome. Like it's obvious predecessor Thomas (the Tank engine), Chuggington features trains which are alive, interacting with people. Each episode is ten minutes long with lessons to be learnt by the audience through the 3 main chuggers (trains) Wilson, Brewster and Koko.

Chuggington is a great show for children of all ages, despite it's intended target audience of three to six years. It is refreshing to see a show that doesn't patronise the viewer like many of the other shows for the same age range.

We love this show at our house. We watched all the seasons when they were on Netflix 2-3 times. Good themes, teaching teamwork, friendship and problem solving. We now own the series. Top notch kids show.

Fantastic little kids show! (Way better than Thomas)
meow002820 April 2020
I can't believe how low of a rating this has overall. We love this show! It was the first show that kept my son's attention when he was a baby and he was colicky, which all moms know is EVERYTHING! We watched 2 episodes a night before bed for a long time. The stories are interesting and pleasant. The songs are infectiously catchy. The characters are a delight! And I've always thought Thomas was a bit too stuffy and boring, personally. I love that there is another type of train show to turn to. They teach about hard work, friendship and honesty. And there is a technical aspect to it too, while obviously animated, talking trains, it still shows a lot of cool engineering type creations. Also, the story and characters advance. They start as new "train-ees" and learn skills to eventually get their jobs. It's a kids show that doesn't drive a parent crazy... I mean they all can eventually if you watch them enough, but this is far better than most!

Traintastic!

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched Chuggington on and off since 2008 and the more I've watched, the more I enjoy it.

The show is high up to date and has an imaginative charm. The world of Chuggington is mesmerizing with vibrant colors, lovable characters (although some characters like Zephie, Hoot and Toot can get quite irritating and annoying) and unforgetable landmarks such as the Roundhouse, Safari Park, Training Yard and Tunnel Depot. Character building morals are learned by the characters in each story. These morals include friendship, honesty, trustworthiness, collaboration, learning from your mistakes, etc, which are the kinds of morals that children's television shows should be teaching.

Overall, Chuggington is a fantastic program that can be enjoyed by children of all ages. It's fun, creative, imaginative and wholesome. With Season 6 premiering this summer on Disney Junior, I can't wait to see what Traintastic adventures are to come.

Fun and Entertaining

I watched this show long before I had my son in 2022. I have always liked kid shows and movies. However, now that I have my son, who is almost one and a half. He loves it when I put this show on. I know the creators intended this show to be for three- to six-year-olds, but everyone of all ages can learn from this show. My son loves the beginning credits where the trains are singing. When he was little, I sang the song, and his face would light up.

This show is excellent for learning lessons that some people deal with every day, and I believe it will be beneficial as my son gets older so he knows what he can and should do in situations. Some things can be hard to teach, but Chuggington will help with the teaching process. Even though each episode is around ten minutes long, there is much information within each episode.

I recommend this to all parents and non-parents if you like kid shows.

Amazing Show
SomeRandomThomasFan10 September 2022
It's quite very amazing in my opinion ever since I watched it on TV Cultura and mostly watch some Russian dubs of some episodes on YouTube and i don't even care if the show is a rip-off to Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends and there are mostly some good characters like Wilson, Olwin, Chatsworth, Hodge, Jackman and many more and I mostly do like the main title theme and even the textures on the Chug Town so anyway i still watch the show as of today and mostly it's still ok in my opinion and even some characters that I mostly know like Tai and Rosa and there are some okay song like Let's Train Together and CQHG (despite they already made a song about Chug Patrol).

Thomas and Friends 2.0
ho-9704911 January 2022
Ever since Mattel killed a precious train franchise (Thomas and Friends), few still remained, which is Chuggington of course. Looks like a pretty fun show. Pretty cool designs. Catchy theme songs. Good characters. It got so much development in later years. Can't believe this show lasted for so long now. Chuggington, keep the train fans entertained please.
