When Deborah "reinvents" herself, she begins pronouncing her name as "Debora." The film is shot on location in San Francisco, where the new wave/post punk band "Romeo Void" originated from. The lead singer was Debora Iyall. If you look closely, she has an uncredited cameo as a theatre patron.
The title of this movie is taken from the classic Bette Davis film "All About Eve" (1950).
