NaVanKie (sans Kie also known as Jackie Appiah) are back again and this time it's to make you laugh. Nadia Buari plays Akuya a pretty young country bumpkin who has come of age and is attracting the eyes of almost every eligible (an ineligible) bachelor in town. But one after the other, she rebuffs and rebuffs until she finally meets a man worthy of her attention. Soon she is engaged to her knight in shimmering armor and he plucks her (Akuya) and her mother from the grips of poverty. One day, when Akuya rebuffs another one of her unlikely suitors and her rejection is not taken lightly, the suitor decides to set her up. He joins hands with a bunch of his friends (all whom have tried their luck but to no avail with Akuya) and they join funds to employ a good looking local bricklayer to go an pose as an American soldier visiting Accra, Ghana. Enter Major Dr. General Nelly (played by Van Vicker) LOL! I can't laugh enough. I mean a title and a name like that, in Ghana for that matter ought to throw any girl off but No! Not greedy Akuya. She is smitten from the first time she sets eyes on her so-called "American Boy" and sooner rather than later, she begins to rebuff her own fiancé in favor of Major General Doctor Duh! He's a fake! LOL! :-D
