The CGI used here is a bit outdated, and honestly a bit ugly-looking at moments, but the plot is very interesting.
It honestly left me wanting to know more about the story and the characters, to learn more about the tiny fish-people and their civilization (Since they apparently are advanced enough to develop protective suits to go to the surface)
Were humans completely unaware of their existence when the water processing station was built? Or the humans were aware, but simply didn't care? (I assume the former was the case, as the ecological message here seems to be how human civilization damages ecosystems in many different ways, and some of these damages remain completely unnoticed by most people)
The short is a bit vague about these details, but it works. It would be nice to see a full feature length film expanding the story to fill the blanks left.
