Brad Armstrong has so many prominent films to his credit that Alektra-Fied is kind of lost in the shuffle. It stands as the first starring feature at Wicked Pictures for contract player Alektra Blue, and shows off her talents with imagination.
This is visual filmmaking without dialog, and the five vignettes are all impressive to watch. Electricity is the underlying theme, sometimes used whimsically, as in a clever sequence starring Jada Fire and her boyfriend in bed bewildered by the lights flashing off (caused by power-mad Alektra on the roof fooling with the electrical source) or a very colorful fetish sequence in which Brad stages the sex acts like a 3-ring circus.
Opening vignette is built around an electric chair, with a music-video style to the direction. The star is kept center stage, while other beauties including Tanya James and Veronica Rayne also brighten up the screen. Unlike earlier exercises popularized by Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn, this one never drifts off into preciousness or overstays its welcome, largely thanks to Alektra's always-high energy level and striking physique which commands the screen.
