This was perhaps the most complete episode of 'Last Man Standing' so far into its ninth and final series, because both the plots worked and were genuinely funny.
I'm still not convinced by Amanda Fuller as Kirsten (yes, even all these years later) or by Mollie McCook as Mandy, but they manage to play their parts well here. I think I just miss the previous incarnations of the characters.
All in all though there are enough moments to carry this episode along its 22 minute run, and while I still think the house feels a bit too empty, and the lack of a full studio audience hinders things, this was the episode of the ninth year I have enjoyed the most so far.
