Funniest kidnapping ever!
lightheartedbeing25 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Love it when the show goes lighthearted! It seems that characters Nell and Beale have been leaving the scene for some time now, too bad, great characters. They won't be replaced easily, though did leave room for a possible return of Nell, anyway. Nice to see Hetty looking good. Am glad there'll be another season even though they tied things up for this season pretty well. The dolphin storyline was, as part of the kidnapping, great.

Gerald McRaney finds his inner Rick Simon
cpotato101024 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
For the last two episodes. Gerald McRaney seems to be playing closer to Rick Simon, rather than Admiral Kilbride, if Rick Simon had ever had to deal with email and other newer tech.

This episode, the NCIS work took a real back-seat to the personal interactions, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Perhaps because it is the season finale, and everyone decided to have a little fun.

Hetty (Linda Hunt) does make a real appearance, not just by remote. The last scene leaves it open as to whether she will be back next season.

The same for Nell (Renée Felice Smith) and Beale (Barrett Foa). Will they return, or won't they?

Kensi & Deeks - I think they are setting up a story line in case Daniela Ruah gets pregnant again - no more sending Kensi off to Afghanistan.

A fun and light hearted episode

I wasn't entirely happy with this season, but this episode and the last brought back memories of why I left NCIS in favor of NCIS LA, and now I'm back on board with LA.

I did though feel as if this was the last episode, and then Hetty made her appearance, and all is right with the NCIS Los Angeles world. Give us more of Gerald McRaney and I'll be a happy viewer.

An Emotional End
ethanisking8424 May 2021
This episode truly ended a great season! It set off new questions like are Nell & Eric leaving for good? Personally, I don't think they would write off these two characters. The show runner R. Scott Gemmill said there's a possibility they come back. So, I'm not too upset for now hoping that they eventually return. I can't wait for Season 13!

Yay Hetty!

Warning: Spoilers
I really hope that they actually have Hetty more in next season. She is really the best part of the show. It would be kind of sad if Nell is gone for good, but Eric isn't around much and the show is just fine. This was a fun one and I am looking forward to next season which will, fingers crossed, have a lot more of Hetty.

A fun episode

Warning: Spoilers
Been following this series since the beginnings and almost always found it entertaining. The characters always work well together, and that is something not often found in a long running series. Now we are going to start season 13, and I hope this isn't an unlucky number for NCIS LA. Is Hetty back? Will Nell and Eric find new experiences overseas? Stay tuned, there is more excitement just a summer away!

Unusual season final in unusual season.
Saving2124 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season was weird bc of the COVID situation, The limitations that were in place , but when you watch other shows that are also in this situation, it feels NCIS LA went above and beyond. All the limitations effected the story that was written and it hurt the show.

This episode they tried to do more normal but you still see the limitations that are, there was not a scene with all the cast together and that was needed especially if Nell and Eric are leaving for good (and it seems they are) ,we should have gotten a scene with all the characters saying goodbye to them .

The episode itself wasn't bad, the focus was on the characters and not the plot, we seen Nell And Eric going on new voyage, hetty coming back to give Nell her blessing. Deeks was involve with his Russian mob ties and callen faced with the hetty question.

It Wasn't bad , it wasn't amazing , next season they should get back to more normal and less limitations and I hope they will get better. Question is how they will reshape the show now that Eric&Nell leaving, hetty maybe can show up more but they need someone to take charge full time ,maybe it be Kilbride or callen ? And who will replace Nell and Eric?

Episode 1218

Warning: Spoilers
I know that there are many out there that love Nell and Eric. I could take Eric a little bit in the beginning, and then Nell was fine, but it is time for both to move on. NCIS: Los Angeles can benefit from a breath of fresh air in the tech area.

Good to see Hetty back, even if it is was just for one episode. She brings such an interesting dynamic to the series.

Not the most entertaining season finale, it almost felt series finale-esque with some of the happy scenes with all the cast near the end, but still enjoyable from start to finish. Here's to hoping Season 13 builds off this momentum moving forward.

It's Going Downhill
spikeluvr24 June 2021
I liked parts of the finale but frankly think the show is headed downhill. I still love the original cast members and think the addition of Gerald McRaney is great. But I'm already sick of Fatima and Roundtree. They're perfect stereotypes of snowflakes. He acts cavalier about everything and seems only half heartedly dedicated to the mission. Why couldn't they have hired Duane Henry for the new guy? They were fools to let him die on NCIS. He's like a black 007 instead of a sulking, smirking twenty something. She is in a near constant state of angst and those stupid headscarves make her look like she's wearing a traffic cone on her head. Why in the world can't she wear a normal headscarf that doesn't look like she's hiding a squirrel in there? Now with losing Nell and Eric the show is losing part of its heart. Even if they left voluntarily I don't see the casting people making any viewer friendly casting decisions. They've shown no ability so far.

If they take Nell and Eric away this show will die.
