As good as anything of this sort which has been attempted
deickemeyer19 September 2015
A picture which presents some thrilling sights not acted in the dramatic world. There are, too, many beautiful outdoor views which reproduce faithfully the scenery which predominates in that vicinity. The picture has been made with care, the selection of the view points developing some extremely interesting features, well worth seeing. In some respects it is as good as anything of this sort which has been attempted. To adequately present such picture requires more ability in the selection of proper view points than many operators seem to possess. Unless a mountain, for example, is represented large upon the screen it loses its effect as a mountain. Not all operators understand that, but when they do, the scenery which is supposed to mean mountains of height are adequately represented and an accurate impression is conveyed. - The Moving Picture World, October 29, 1910
