Don't get what's the fuss about the episode.

Nothing too exciting has happened yet, the season is placing its cards on the table for what is to come.

A simple, light episode Reminds us of S1 characters and events Lets see where this all takes us.

Writers need to work on keeping the basics realistic

Sure, this is a fantasy-based show, but when it comes to the basics, we have to keep some things grounded in reality. The writing in this episode wasn't well thought out in regards to Bode at school - he's been through enough and is old enough to appreciate that the keys (and their magic) are a secret - he knows that adults can't remember what they see, but yet thinks it's a good idea to use the magic he discovered over summer as the welcome back show and tell topic and then get disappointed when his teacher and classmates don't believe him, please.
