And "Poor Things" isn't.
I've seen Wrong Turn part 6, but it doesn't matter which part it was because the guy who matters is on the cast list of all Wrong Turn films. From part 1 to 6. It's Julian Richings, the actor from 3 Fingers. And I ended up on Relax, I'm from the future because I checked movies with Julian Richings. What a happy coincidence.
The film captivated me from the first scene to the last. All the actors do a good job. The story somehow makes sense and the film has some nice ideas. There are no time machines, no parallel universes, no multiple reality time lines....... none of the nonsense of other time travel films. This one keeps it simple. There is only one reality, a self adjusting wobbling blob or something, which keeps itself on the track - (something like that...) so we can go back in time and interact. As long as we don't change important historical things or kill people who are important. As it turns out, most of us aren't important. Isn't that a different way of looking at time travel? The story is made to entertain. And it serves its purpose. 7 stars because I liked it. One of these low budget movies that work fine because of a great idea and great execution and actors.
