eye-opening and provoking mosaic of pictures and antagonistic opinions
serafimdali25 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary is really a unique and provoking one. It shows opinions from all sides, and at least some of them must make you angry and lift you from your chair. A mosaic of antagonistic opinions, without commentary. That is very valuable and rare. It shows the present state of things in Tibet, shows (as I believe) previously unpublished opinions and views and also some informative shootings from present Tibet under Chinese reform. You will hear the opinions of ex-soldiers of Tibet that were pushed to stop the fight for their country, you will learn of new peaceful but steady marches for free Tibet and you will see the shocking picture of the sacred Tibetian central seat Potala with Chinese supermarket and marble paved square with colorful fountains under it - these details really were eye-opening...

Great film!

It was a great film! Please go see it with an open mind. Please pretend its a story from a different planet and watch the story unfold without any judgement. Don't impose your own political agenda on it. Listen to what people have to say.

This film is very informative. It has opinions of not both, but many sides. When you are trying to form an opinion, you need as many different opinions as possible. And this film was good for that.

I wonder whether this film will be shown in China. Will be very interesting to see a debate on this topic. Isn't that what a documentary is for? To start a conversation? I believe this film will do its job.
