Strange Enough's sets were built in an old paint factory with no climate control. So even though the the entire film is set indoors, the cast and crew worked through near freezing temperatures.
Strange Enough is shot on the same location as the director's first short film, Temet Nosce.
The cape effect at the end of the movie is partially accomplished by having the actor walk backwards as the cape is pulled away by puppeteers. The footage was then reversed and composited into the final scene.
