And she would have gotten away with it if it weren't for that meddling kid. Good production quality and good creature effects make up for a so-so story and uninspired acting.

I enjoyed this short a lot more than I initially thought I might-- the production quality is strong with some very stylish lighting and solid cinematography. It's always risky casting a kid actor in the lead role, especially for a serious, dramatic narrative, but she did a good job. The last couple minutes of the film surprised me the most with some really cool creature special effects that definitely surpassed the production quality I typically expect of indie horror shorts. Nice work by writer/director Sid Zanforlin and the rest of their team, I hope they keep making stuff!
Would definitely recommend especially for fans of serious alien scifi horror.

A nice Sci . Fi., generous perspective about the relation granddaughter - granny and surprising inspired special effects.
The generousity is the result of exploration of basic theme who becomes frame for a more than reasonable horror.
Not a great short film, but one knowing explore the slice, significant one, of the childhood of many viewers for use this special connection for a fair fantasy in which a film projected in church sounds reasonable and attempts of murder are , in final, correct.
In some measure, the hurry of girl to save her grandmother can be the Achilles heel of film. But, in so many occasions, the reasons of children are out of understand of adults. So, a reasonable short film with potention of a series and with old cinema flavors working just well.
