No Easter egg here (web)

I watched it on the web because oceanic mythology was among the leftover from my art studies.

This documentary is more about engineering the installation of a modern statue than a in-depth history of the island.

For what i have understood, those heads asked actually as much human work than building the pyramids. It's an amazing task that leaves speechless: in a way, the more they erect a statue, the more they dig their grave as they divert all things needed for a living. That's why for example the ground beneath the heads is barren as they cut all the trees available. The good insight of the production is to have guessed that the native used their canoe technology because it's indeed the finest piece of technology the oceanic civilizations invented!

For those who seek UFOs or forgotten gods, they will have to look for another documentary.
